I Anushri Mishra love historical sites, natural sites and sites whose USPs lies in authentic, delicious fares. Goa is all rolled into one and many more. For the past one year I kept planning and re-planning my itinerary for Goa. I was determined to take my two kids along with me and luckily a girlfriend of mine came to know about our trip and agreed to join our gang with her kid in tow.
Before we began our expedition, I did a thorough research on internet about the various tour packages of Goa. I had heard from time to time that Goa is an expensive state to tour around. But fortunately I stumbled upon superbly interesting Goa flight and hotel packages offered by a travel site that seemed both economical and feasible. I informed my friend about it and she was on cloud nine!
On a sunny morning we started off our journey from Biju Patnaik Airport Bhubaneswar (BBI). Our destination was Dabolim Airport, Goa (GOI) but in-between, we had to take a halt in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport, Mumbai (BOM). It was an Air India flight and we were in awe with the warm hospitality and comfortable journey provided by the airline. The dazzling beauty of Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport took our collective breath away and I realized a tinge of pride as this Indian airport was at par with any international one.
Goa Beckons and How!
Our 7-day trip in Goa was full of fun, exploration, gorging on sumptuous food, playing on the beach and shopping knickknacks. Whether it’s the colorful alleys of Anjuna Market or the serenity of Chapora beach- Goa surprised us in many ways. My camera went on a 24*7 clicking-mode and I discovered the hidden photographer inside me!
But above all, I was so much happy for the children. Throughout the year, they remained confined in the boundaries of classrooms, study materials and tuitions. Goa unleashed their wildness and how! Besides, not only Goa nourished my explorer-self but it also made me realize that even if I am a teacher by profession, but still I believe that nature is the best classroom in the world!
