Being a social science teacher and a mother of two amazing kids I always prefer visiting various destinations in and our India along with my family. This vacations I planned to visit the beautiful and scenic hill station of Manali. I was quite excited for this trip as I would be getting to spend quality time with my children and also will be able to find refuge from the scorching heat of the sun in the cold higher altitudes of this serene hill spot.
I checked various travel packages and Manali flight hotel deals while planning my trip. There are a number of popular travel organizer’s websites that offer best deals at Manali at affordable prices. I surfed through the internet and visited various Manali hotels websites to find the most appropriate accommodation for us. Manali flight hotel deals can be booked online on the go and the payment can be made via credit or debit cards or via online banking options.
I made our reservations on an Air India Airlines flight. There are a number of flights that fly between the Biju Patnaik Airport at Bhubaneswar and Bhuntar Airport at Kullu. The airport codes for these two airports are BBI and KUU respectively. We didn’t travel via a continuous flight as our flight had a halt at the Indira Gandhi international airport of New Delhi. I have travelled a couple of times via the Air India Airlines and hence I prefer this air carrier due to its prompt and hassle free booking features. I booked the tickets online via the e- ticket feature available on the Air India website.
The in flight services offered by this leading air carrier are unmatchable and the seats are also very comfortable with ample leg space. Hence we reached Kullu afresh and there after we travelled to our final destination i.e. Manali via taxi. There is a distance of 40.1 kilometres between these two hill spots of Himachal Pradesh and it took us about an hour to reach Manali via the Ramshila road. Both my kids were very excited all through the journey and finally as we reached our destination we were all looking forward to this trip.
